Redfish, speckled trout, and mangrove snapper made for a nice mix on a recent inshore trip here in Panama City. We caught multiple redfish and speckled trout, along with some mangrove snapper—a good reminder of the variety our local inshore waters can offer.

That mix is one of the things I enjoy about inshore fishing. Every outing gives us a different set of conditions to work with, and you never know exactly how the day will unfold. On this trip, having redfish, trout, and mangrove snapper in the catch gave us plenty to talk about back at the dock.
If you’re planning a fishing trip to Panama City, our private four-hour inshore charter is a good option for families, friends, and first-time anglers. I’ll help with the equipment and fishing techniques, and we’ll plan the outing around your crew and the conditions.
Bring a group of one to four guests; fishing equipment and licenses are included. We meet at St. Andrews Marina, 3151 West 10th Street, Panama City, FL 32401.
This report describes a past trip, and catches vary from day to day. We fish Florida state waters and follow the current seasons and harvest rules. Fish cleaning is not included; a facility on site offers that service for an additional charge.
