A private fishing trip gives your group time on the water with a captain who can help you get comfortable, learn the equipment, and enjoy the day. You do not need to arrive as an experienced angler.
At Gulf Coast Guide Fishing and Adventures, Captain Logan Linton welcomes families, first-time anglers, and experienced fishermen. Trip pricing includes 4 guests. A fifth and sixth guest may join for an additional charge that varies by trip. Rods, reels, tackle, and fishing licenses are included.
Choosing your trip
Start with the experience you want. Inshore fishing is a good option to discuss if your group prefers fishing the bays and nearby waters. Offshore trips offer a different experience in the Gulf when conditions allow. Neither option guarantees calm water or a particular catch, so tell Captain Logan about young children, seasickness concerns, and your group’s experience before choosing.
What to bring
Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, drinks, and snacks for your group. Wear shoes with a secure grip and clothing suited to the forecast. Ask the captain about cooler space, personal gear, and any special needs before your trip. If you are unsure about motion sickness, ask a healthcare professional about options in advance.
